Bad Axe Festival

Yesterday, all three of us went to the Festival! You guys had your very first snow cone, and loved it. We seen lots and lots of animals like lamas, kangaroos, monkeys, snakes (you guys didn't like the snakes) porcupines, pumas, foxes, African turtles. We stopped and ate lunch at China King, Taylor you like to call it Ki-lan's place (its a show you loved on Nick Jr) On the way walking back to the festival Taylor you were flying with your arms high in the air and did not notice the bump in the side walk...boom down you fell! You skinned you knees really bad! But you were so brave and cried only a little. So we walk over to the police station were we got some bandage's and neosporin to clean you up. Taylor you were so polite to the officer thanking her for her "doctor supplies" that is what you told her. It was so cute, honey! Jackson you were such a good boy during the whole event. You kept asking sissy " o-tay sissy o-tay"! The festival was a fun time you guys enjoyed the bouncy houses, playing on the playground, and the animals. Mommy tried to talk you guys into a camel ride with me, no one wanted to ride him! Maybe next time :) I love you both very much and Mommy enjoyed her day with both of you! We all wished you could have been there Daddy, but were glad you had a great day charter fishing!

Family Photo

Taylor and Jackson, mommy is going to try to keep our blog updated! Hopefully at least once a week. I almost delete our blog tonight, but after looking though all our memories, I just could not do it. So I am going to try really, really try hard to take time and update our family blog. So we will be able to look back and enjoy years from now.

Taylor you are 4 1/2 now. You make sure to tell us your birthday is Dec 16 and you will be 5 (it is so cute). You did great at your dance recital (June 4th). After you were done dancing (to Reflections) they handed you off stage were you sat with daddy, Jack and G&G. You just kept saying to me "mommy way are they on my stage? I can dance with them too!" You have spent alot of time fishing with daddy and grandpa on Saginaw Bay. You love it! Taylor you really enjoy only you time with Mommy or Daddy, and its just you! Taylor you are a very loving, sensitive, caring, and oh so very smart little lady. Who loves, loves to color, paint, use a glue stick, write out party invitations, speeding tickets, and take our orders. You tell us that you are going to be a photographer, when you grow up. We gave you your own little camera/tripod. Mommy has already taken you on 2 photo shoot. Your photos were of everyone's knees, those were the best knee pictures I had ever seen. Taylor you are our perfect little lady. We love you so much, you continue to amaze us with you wonderful imagination everyday!

Jackson you are 22 1/2 mths old. Jack you never slow down on min. you are exploring until you eyelids close. I love your outlook on your world...everything is an adventure! You are enamored by tractors, you get so excited just to see one. You love to climb, jump, dive, leap, ramp you 3 wheeler off the steps (makes me nervous) explore every inch of everything. You have already chipped half of your front tooth off (thanks to your dentist... its whole again). Jackson you are the most loving little boy. You give the best hugs (strong and tight)and kisses (you lips pucker up like a fish, so funny). You look up to your big sister and want to do everything she does. Playing dress up with your sister has became something you really enjoy. Sissy and I took you to her dance class, and you, had to ware one of her tutu's. Your speech amazes us, you can now put 4 word sentences together,WOW. We love your free spirit, and your ability to entertain the crowd. We could not ask for a better little man. You have changed so much in your first year, we are looking forward to seeing what this year brings. We love you, Jackson

Potty?

Jackson, has really started to show interest in the potty lately! Not sure what he wants to do with it. But we will follow his lead and see what happens!
Bath time fun!!! Our kids feed off each other so much, what one does the other follows. Bath time turned into a big fun water fight. Daddy and I put a damper on that party. We had water on the walls, ceiling, floor...you get the picture, everywhere. They sure had fun while it lasted!

We are almost ready to celebrate TAYLOR'S TURNING 4!!!!! I cannot believe it has been 4 years Taylor has developed a wonderful personality, loves to sing, play piano, do all kinds of craft projects, loves to cook and help out at the Ranch and home. Grandma Jello, they loved the spongebob pj. They were a big hit around the house!
You are growing so fast....happy birthday, baby girl.

Mommy, Daddy and Jackson

Jackson's In the Paper!

Thumb Nation Bank in Cass City Mi had asked us if we would like to do the Santa pictures this year, at the lighted parade. We happily excepted! We photographed around 239 kids this year! It really was a wonderful feeling seeing all the kids. There faces light up when they saw Santa and Mrs. Clause. Surprisingly that not to many of them were fearful of Santa, and were eager for there photo. When we were almost done I look behind me, and to my surprise there was daddy and Jack. Taylor opted to stay with G&G Anthony (her favorite place). So daddy snapped our picture, and that is how he made it into the Cass City Chronicle. He is so dapper. Don't you think?

Hemmens Pumpkin Farm

We had a wonderful time at Hemmens. Matt was telling the kids the whole trip that we were going to see the bunny's, ducks, pumpkins, goats, turkeys all the great thing Hemmens has had for years. To our surprise when we arrived there were no animals, well only one tired looking pony! Taylor and I were disappointed, but they still had tons of pumpkins, coco, donuts, candy apples. We had a blast running through all the pumpkins and Jackson eating his first Carmel apple. He enjoyed that!!!!! Here are a few more pics from the day!
Thanks for sharing, daddy!
